I donated to Planned Parenthood in honor of VP-elect Mike Pence

There are so many of us upset by the election but I think the best way to deal with these feelings is channel them into something productive.

When scrolling through Facebook, I came across a post suggesting people should make donations to Planned Parenthood in honor of Mike Pence.

This idea is genius because Planned Parenthood will send the a letter to the person you make the donation “in honor of”.

In case you don’t know why someone would donate to Planned Parenthood in his name, here are a few of the things Mike Pence has done throughout his career:

-He introduced the first federal measure to block patients from PP care, then introduced five more

-In only four years, he signed eight anti-abortion bills into law in Indiana

-He’s tried to redefine “rape” to reduce access to abortion

-He doesn’t seem to know how condoms work

-He signed a bill that basically requires funerals for aborted fetuses

The list goes on really.
