How a college guy would dress for the weekend if he was a girl

Going out is pretty simple if you’re a guy. If you’re not trying to make a statement, the most you have to do is grab pants, a shirt, and maybe a sweater or sweatshirt that together aren’t too painful on the eyes.

Erica and I were considering how college guys perceive how girls dress for certain occasions, then it turned into how a college guy would dress for these occasions if he was a girl. Seeing as I was present, I became the guinea pig.

With the contribution of Erica’s wardrobe and her modeling skills, I put together how I think I would dress as a college lady for various occasions that are typical of life in college and she showed me how it all looked. The outfits I picked from her wardrobe were picked on the basis of how confident I would be in wearing them and how they applied to each occasion.

Girls night

My idea behind this one was chill. If I was just going out without a real destination with some friends, I would wear something casual and not very flashy, something like this above. Plus, a pair of shorts, a t-shirt, and a button down is what I, as a guy, usually wear out.

Low-key get-together

This one was just a throw-away idea we came up with on the spot. If I was just staying in with friends, I would wear whatever I felt most comfortable in. To pick this outfit, I asked Erica what were some of the more comfortable things she owned were, and picked those. Also, I wanted to rep The Tab in one of these.

Frat party

I thought this one should be a little more eye-catching than the outfit I picked for just going out. My reasoning behind that was it’s probably going to be more crowded and I would want to stand out a little more, hence the cool pants. Since Erica has a plethora of crop tops, I just grabbed one that didn’t conflict with or draw any attention away from the awesome pants.

Bar hopping

For this one, I thought I’d be more casual. Jeans are always a good bet, and why not rep Pitt with a tank top? I thought the shoes were hilarious, so I threw those in too.

Date Party(formal/semi formal)

Nice looking dress, not too fancy, what else has to be said? I had no clue what to do with the shoes so I just picked some at random.

Clubbing

If I was in the club, I want to be dressed well and be trying to turn heads. This dress is pretty good looking, plus the brightness will definitely make you stand out from the crowd. This one was also the hardest to photograph because Erica loved it so much and couldn’t decide on a photo.
