If your week was absolute shit, you’re not alone and it’s all about to change tonight

The cosmic glow-up is finally upon us

Tonight, beginning at 7:32 pm, a full snow moon penumbral lunar eclipse will peak. And I’m not an astronomer so I don’t know what that means, but apparently, all will be right in the world again.

Whether or not you believe in the power of the stars, you can’t deny your past week has been absolute shit. And neither can the person sitting next to you — just go ahead and ask them.

Had a weird misunderstanding at work? Tried to dye your hair blonde, but it came out orange? Ordered a package from Amazon, but it got sent to the wrong address?!

This week has been universally awful, and here’s why it’s about to change.

If you look up at the moon tonight and it looks darker than usual, it’s because tonight is not a normal night. Not only will a lunar eclipse be taking place, but skywatchers can also catch a glimpse of a bright-green comet passing by the Earth.

So, recap: a full moon, lunar eclipse and green comet will all be aligning in the sky tonight.

Also recap: I don’t know what any of this means, but astronomers and astrologists never seem to agree on anything, and this time they are both excited?!

I know I sound like a crazy crystal lady, but hear me out. This is the final purge of 2016, and all of the negative energy it came along with is about to be rid from your life.

In astrological terms, a full moon is a promise of fulfillment — it is the culmination of a promise being made, and a promise being kept.

With a bright moon like this one lighting up the sky, illumination will become apparent in our own lives as well. Lunar eclipses are especially centered around relationships, so get ready for something to be settled this evening.

Whether it’s that guy you like finally texting you back, that guy who screwed you over finally fucking off, or that argument you got into with your girlfriends fizzling down to a simmer, tonight is a night of renewal.

I have been saying this for months, but 2017 is the year of the glow-up, and this is where, it all begins.
