There’s a new ‘witchy beauty brand’ selling anti-highlighter, and I’m still trying to figure it all out

How does it work?

On average, I would feel safe in saying I’ve spent seventy-percent of every day for the past year attempting to perfect my face highlights, and now it’s all being taken away from me.

According to Nylon, anti-highlighter is the new “witchy” highlighter we’ve been waiting for, but I remain skeptical. It’s a product pointed at people who are against the use of highlighter, and is meant to counteract precisely what highlighter is meant to spotlight.

Their most recent shade of highlighter, Eclipse, “is an ominous shade of pure black—not one trace of shimmer—with subtle hints of aubergine.”

So there’s a small part of me that feels like applying this product would feel similar to rubbing charcoal on your face, but apparently charcoal is trendy and exfoliates now, so I guess who am I to judge?

According to their website, it’s descried as “an all-in-one black blush, contour, cream eyeshadow, and lipstick.”

So next time you want to embrace your inner witch, or if you’re just one of those girls who allows their horoscope to effect their life decisions, you might want to consider this new anti-highlighter. Isn’t it cool to hate things now?

Eclipse Inner Glow Crème Pigment will be available on April 5 for $29.
