Olympic gold medalist, Aly Raisman, told to ‘get a thicker skin’ after tweeting about body shaming

She claims a male TSA told her ‘I don’t see any muscles’

Last night, Aly Raisman, a two time Olympic gymnast and three time gold medalist posted a series of Tweets where she claims she was body shamed by a male TSA at the airport.

‘I don’t see any muscles’

The TSA’s twitter has since responded to Raisman with an apology

Not everyone was supportive of Raisman speaking out about her experience

Surprisingly (read not surprisingly) most of the opponents were male.

One male twitter user believes Raisman is easily triggered

Another Twitter user claims she must be insecure

One warned her to be careful

While another called her sensitive

She was told to be comfortable in her own skin

While being told her arms ‘did in fact look weak’

Guess she’ll just have to ‘build a bridge and get over it’

Should have known she was always fated to be judged

Luckily, there are still women on twitter
