Back for Cosmo graphically detailed how to give a dude a Rusty Trombone, before Desi rimmed the fuck outta Marnie on that episode of Girls, before Nicki Minaj implored Drake and Lil Wayne to eat her ass like a cupcake, before "suck my ass" became the gender neutral insult du jour. Yes, years before ass-eating because a mainstay of the sexual deeds menu, Sex and the City was talking about it.

2001 gave us many gifts (chief among them the first Shrek movie film), but it also gave us one of the first instances of rimming being discussed in a mainstream television program. The story unfolds as such:

Miranda, resident wet blanket and cat-owner (same), unexpectedly gets her salad tossed by a running partner.
