DeMario Jackson speaks out about the alleged ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ sexual misconduct scandal

DeMario says claims are false

On Sunday, producers announced filming for Bachelor In Paradise was indefinitely suspended due to a complaint alleging sexual misconduct on-set. Since the news broke it has been confirmed that the complaint was questioning whether contestant Corinne Olympios was able to consent to sexual activity with DeMario Jackson. Corinne spoke out for the first time yesterday claiming she is a victim, and will be hiring an attorney.

DeMario Jackson issued his first public statement via his publicist Eve Sarkisyan-Nunn Wednesday evening to E! News.

“It’s unfortunate that my character and family name has been assassinated this past week with false claims and malicious allegations.” DeMario said. “I will be taking swift and appropriate legal action until my name is cleared, per the advice of legal counsel, will be seeking all available remedies entitled to me under the laws.”
