In a recent survey, some men said women like being sexually harassed because we like the attention.
Between 30-65 percent of men in the countries surveyed admitted to sexually harassing women. In many cases, they said that if the woman was dressed provocatively or out at night, she was “asking for it.” A large majority also said they harass women “because it was fun.”
Men who admitted to sexually harassing women said they engaged in everything from staring, groping, sexual comments and even rape.
Researchers suggested that the harassers’ reasoning is to “to put them in their place” because “the world owes them.”
