Did Rihanna just shade Drake with her relationship advice to a fan?

Yesterday, news broke that Drake and Bella Hadid miiiight be a thing as photos surfaced of the two together. Drake and Hadid were pictured leaving a club together after a night out, and they were even wearing coordinating outfits. Que cute!

On the same day, Rihanna decided to offer some relationship advice to a fan

And because it’s something we haven’t seen her do so directly in the past, the timing seems suspect.

Twitter user Samer reached out to Rihanna about getting over a broken heart

After his first relationship ended, Samer decided to reach out to one of his favorite pop starts to ask how she’d gotten over heartbreak in the past.

“Hey Robs…how did you get over your first heartbreak? I’ve been struggling,” he wrote.

Of course she took the time to reply with some really sound advice

“Just believe that the heartbreak was a gift in itself! Cry is you have to, but it won’t be forever! You will find love again, and it will be even more beautiful! In the meantime enjoy all that YOU are!!!” she said.

Hold up. Did Rihanna just throw shade at Drake when she said ‘Just believe that the heartbreak was a gift in itself’?

Sounds like she has bigger plans for herself than him. The Drake/Rihanna saga has been a wild ride, and at this point the whole world know he’s watching.

“You will find love again, and it will be even more beautiful,” she said. But we’re not sure. After all, Drake’s “been in love with her since he was 22.” And once you fall in love, do you ever really fall out?

I don’t know, but I were Drake, I’d be shaking.
