Everyone on Twitter is freaking out over the rumored names of Beyoncé’s twins, Shawn and Bea (pronounced bee), and if these actually are their names, Blue won the family name jackpot.
Media Takeout and other publications claim they’ve received confirmation “from someone who says they are close with the Jay Z and Beyonce campaign,” but that honestly sounds like a stretch.
Because Jay Z’s birth name is Shawn, and Bea would be like a mini Bey, it makes a bit of sense that they’d want to pass the names down, but after such a creative name for their first girl, it feels like a complete 180.
Imagine if your sister were named Blue Ivy, and you had to introduce yourself as Shawn.
We still expect they’ll come forward with more creative names.
Guess we’ll just have to wait on confirmation from the royal family. Or maybe Bey’s dad will drop the bomb again.
