I'm just glad to hear my childhood heroes are still thriving
10 years ago, Aly & AJ’s iconic ‘Potential Breakup Song’ was released as a single and changed the course of music history. With classics like that, “Like Whoa,” “No One,” and “Rush,” these girls were the epitome of the golden age of Disney. But where are the blonde-haired goddesses who blessed the Earth with such art today?

Aly
Aly is currently 28.
She is married to independent film producer Stephen Ringer.
She has a recurring role on The CW’s iZombie and will star in a comedy called The Lears, which is in pre-production.
She also travels a lot, which means her life is perfect.
AJ
AJ Michalka is currently 26.
She has a recurring role on ABC’s The Goldbergs and voices Stevonnie on Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe. She also stars in the Netflix original movie Support The Girls, set to be released in 2018.
She’s very into activism and standing up for women’s rights. Yes, please.

The two are still super close.
They’re releasing new music to us soon. Their single, “Take Me,” was released on June 2nd. Their new EP plans to be released on July 17th.
I’m just glad to hear my childhood heroes are still thriving. But if they let me down with this EP, I might have to burn all the Aly & AJ merch hiding in my parents’ closet.
