A reminder that your post-fuckboy glow is one mistake away from disappearing

It’s fragile, folks

Just last month La La Anthony introduced the sorcery that is post-fuckboy glow into our lives when she stepped up to the Met Gala wearing a ring on every single finger but her ring finger.

Following a breakup with her cheating ex, she looked like an absolute 11/10, reminding post-breakup girls everywhere that they were about to enter into their second round of puberty, also known as the glow up.

But if you need a refresher, here it is. Post-fuckboy glow [pōst fək-boi ɡlō] (Noun): That space of time after running around looking like the shit you were dealing with.

Our acne was disappearing.

Our cheeks, literally beaming.

We basically didn’t have a care in the world.

Until he slid back into our DMs.

Now La La has announced that she’ll not, in fact, be filing for divorce, and people everywhere are asking the only important question left: If you can gain a post-fuckboy glow, can you lose one too?

The glow is fragile. It’s natural to fall back in with someone. You have a shared history together, and nobody would blame you if you missed them. But what you’re going to miss real bad, is that natural sheen you were rocking after shedding their stupid dead weight.

We still know La La sill has that spark in her somewhere; when an interviewer said to her “He seems to want you back,” she responded, “Why wouldn’t he?” and we just hope she finds it soon.

A few rules to live by: If he doesn’t text you he doesn’t like you, if he’s playing ‘the game’ he doesn’t want to be with you, and if he’s acting like a fuckboy you’re just one step away from your glow-iest self.

Just remember to check yourself every now and again. If you can gain a post-fuckboy glow, you can lose one too.
