This new app will help you choose the hottest thirst trap for your Insta feed
It even takes captions into account
How many times have you heard someone say, “I bet it took her like 15 tries to get that photo,” and how many times have you thought “Yeah, probably?”
Because it takes everyone 15 times — sometimes 20, or even 100. And that’s fine. Instagram is meant to be aspirational — a place where we can show off our best selves to friends, family and that guy we swiped left on Tinder, but who we hope follows us anyway. Give me a good ratio, or give me death.
Now, there’s an app that’ll choose that best picture for you. EyeEm Selects allows you to upload streams of photos — of you, or anything else — and will anonymously tell you which one, based on image-recognition technology it collects from professional photographers, will benefit your feed the most.
While the app’s primary focus is visual, it also “takes story into account,” so it’ll help you to select the caption it thinks most people want to see.
The app is currently only available on Android, but is on its way to iOS.
