No, ‘Cards Against Humanity for Her’ isn’t sexist

Chill with the hate-shares

I love Cards Against Humanity because it always lets me know exactly when it’s time to leave the party. Some of the lights have been flicked back on, the stench of stale beer and disappointment fills the air, and suddenly someone whispers “Anyone down for a game of Cards Against?”

The best part about it is that it lets me know which of my friends are racist, sexist, homophobes — but that’s besides the point. They’ve actually done something pretty cool this time around, with their latest edition “Cards Against Humanity for Her.”

In a biting parody of women targeted products — and our favorite pink tax agenda — Cards Against have tossed their hat into the ring with their own female edition of game, Tweeting, “It’s exactly the same game as the original, but it’s pink and costs more.”

All profits from sales will go to EMILY’s List, a political action committee that works to help put pro-choice Democratic women candidates into elected office.

What’s even funner than their parodied game is the way people have been hate-tweeting them since it dropped.

The joke has gone over the heads of a number of Twitter users

Like some people are actually really angry

Others are wondering where the men’s edition is

While a few are just really, truly confused

We’re just wondering if COH’s plan will backfire thanks to people refusing to read their copy.

Also, fully aware it’s a joke, but if they ever did make a Cards Against game with cards like “Brunch,” and “You’re such a Miranda,” I’d be more likely to play it.

As long as it doesn’t cost more.
