Tomi Lahren is ‘most excited’ for transgender military ban in debate with Chelsea Handler tonight

‘I think she underestimates me’

Tonight, noted comedian and TV host Chelsea Handler will take on controversial conservative pundit Tomi Lahren in what has been described as a “live conversation” at Politicon.

A critic of President Donald Trump, Handler is set to drill Tomi about everything from Skinny Repeal, to LGBT rights, and more immediately, his recent announcement banning transgender people from serving in the military — coincidentally, the topic Lahren claims she is “most excited” about.

In an interview at LAX with TMZ last night, Lahren said, “I have so many friends in the military, so many people that have served who can’t talk about it because they’re in the service and that’s not allowed.

“And so liberals think they have the voice in the matter, because they’re the most prominent, but it’s because many conservatives can’t speak out.

“Those that are serving can’t speak out, so I’m going to be that voice,” she continued, “and I can’t wait to tackle that issue tomorrow, that’s going to be issue number one for me.”

When asked how she felt about Handler, Lahren said, “I never underestimate my opponent. Ever. I think she’s a very bright woman. I think she’s quick witted — I think she’s funny. I think she probably underestimates me, but that’s why I’m excited to do it.”

But not everybody is as confident in Lahren as she is in herself

Either way, people are really excited about it

Because personal opinions aside, neither of them are known for backing down from a debate.
