Bella Hadid doesn’t smile in photos for the most relatable reason

Never thought I had something in common with the Hadids

Bella Hadid, the darker Hadid sister who gets labeled as The Weeknd's ex way too much considering she's a supermodel on her own, just told the world why she's stony-faced in basically every picture she takes.

She told The Guardian, "I feel uncomfortable, sometimes, smiling in front of the camera. It actually took me until probably this year to really understand my face."

Sister, same. When I'm awkwardly posing for an Instagram solo shot in front of a fountain or national monument, it definitely gets awkward smiling for the camera as herds of people judge me for being "extra." I can't imagine the pressure of holding a smile while thousands of paps who judge your every move snap pics of you.

Also, I still don't understand my face, if we're being honest. I'm impressed Bella has her angles figured out at the early age of 20. Something tells me the Vogue covers and endless advertisements helped with that.

Honestly, it's just good to know even models have a tough time with their insecurities. To everyone out there who takes straight-faced selfies, keep doing you. Bella Hadid definitely approves.
