No, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are probably not getting back together

Patti Stanger, Million Dollar Matchmaker, and close friend to Actors Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, said this weekend that she believes there’s still hope the couple splitting after 8 years of marriage will stay together. According to her, the fact they’re still living in the same home is a good sign.

Last week, Pratt and Faris took to Facebook to announce their split. “Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating,” they wrote.

“We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.”

However, Stanger is not as convinced, arguing there’s still hope for the two of them. “He’s still living in the house,” she told Entertainment Tonight during a Facebook Live interview. “Let’s pray it turns around. I want them to get back together.”

But yesterday Pratt was spotted out without his wedding ring, and the two seem extremely made up on the issue.

“Our son has two parents who love him very much,” they said of their son Jack who will turn 5 this month, “and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”

We all wanted them to stay together — perhaps more for ourselves than for them — but sometimes it’s not meant to be.

And let’s get real, there was never any hope for the rest of us.
