Chris Brown just defended beating Rihanna because ‘she hit him too’

I wish she’d do it again

I don’t know why Chris Brown is convinced people still think about him. And I definitely don’t know why he thinks releasing a documentary in which he details the infamous assault on Rihanna in 2009 is a good idea, but it’s here. And it looks awful.

In the documentary, titled Welcome to My Life, Brown explains the relationship began to sour after he sat Rihanna down and told her about all the women he fucked before her. “My trust totally was lost with her,” he says. “From there, it just went downhill because there were too many verbal fights, physical fights as well.”

It’s like he stumbled into a horrible case of word vomit and it just won’t stay down. After, he defends hitting her because apparently she hit him too (which, I totally believe, and I’d love to see her do again). “It is the first time I get to say anything,” he says, “We would fight each other. She would hit me, I would hit her.”

That’s when he begins detailing, and defending, bashing Rihanna’s face in at a Grammy’s event, because a woman he previously slept with was there.

“She starts going off, she throws the phone…’I hate you.’ She hits me a couple more times. I remember she tried to kick me, but then I really hit her, with a closed fist, I punched her. I busted her lip,” he says.

“From there she just spit in my face, spit blood in my face and it enraged me even more.

“She takes the keys out of the car and fakes it like she throws them out of the window. I get out the car and I’m looking for the keys and somebody yelled and she yells out her door, ‘Help, he’s trying to kill me.'”

But you know, it’s okay, because she allegedly hit him back??

I wonder if he knows she has a billionaire boyfriend now? Probably not, since he was spotted commenting eye emojis on one of her latest grams. That’ll bring her back.

Watch the trailer (if you can stomach it) here.
