This girl was found dead in a hotel freezer and a new video might explain why

‘Help me’

A 19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins was found dead inside a freezer at the Rosemont Hotel in Illinois Sunday morning.

Jenkins' mother told The Chicago Tribune she left the house Friday to go to a party with her friends at the hotel. Since then, Jenkins' father, Martin, says her friends' stories regarding what happened at the hotel have "changed over and over."

The cause of Kenneka Jenkins' death has not yet been confirmed, although an autopsy has been completed.

Recently, a video surfaced in which people claim to hear her voice in the background

In a Facebook Live video that's since gone viral, people are alleging Jenkins' voice can be heard saying "help me" at 3:06, right before her friend in turns the music up.

Others are commenting on reflections in her glasses.

Police have told Jenkins' family she was seen on surveillance "staggering" drunk near the front of the hotel, and opening the freezer door herself.

Her father, Martin, says he has a hard time believing the police account that she she got herself into the freezer herself if she was in fact as drunk as they say.

"This is not an area where anyone would typically be who was a guest in the hotel," Gary Mack, a spokesperson for Rosemont Village told the Tribune.

Jenkins' father says he's annoyed over what he calls the hotel's "lack of urgency", claiming he believes she might have been alive had they looked at the tapes before sending him to the police.

Her brother has since posted on Facebook saying, "One of you lil bitches did something to my sister."

"The key here is the autopsy report," Mack told BuzzFeed News, "I'm sure the police are looking at every conceivable avenue to get to the bottom of this."
