Finally, the mystery of Taylor Swift’s missing ‘All Too Well’ scarf is solved

Once upon a time, the fanfic stars aligned and Taylor Swift dated Jake Gyllenhaal and it led to Taylor Swift's best album, Red (this is an indisputable fact, do not try to argue with me in the comments).

"All Too Well", arguably the most emo song she's ever written, chronicles the demise of her relationship with Jake so devastated, they felt like they'd had their heart broken by Donnie Darko themselves.

I couldn't even look at the light in my refrigerator without sobbing. Taylor claims in the song that she left her scarf at Jake's sister, Maggie's, house.

I walked through the door with you, the air was cold,

But something 'bout it felt like home somehow.

And I left my scarf there at your sister's house,

And you've still got it in your drawer even now.

But now, the mystery of whether or not the scarf was actually left at Maggie's house has been solved. Kind of. On Watch What Happens Live, Maggie addressed the scarf-clad elephant in the room.

Maggie may have no recollection of the scarf but we do, Maggie. We do.
