‘You will always be my fantasy made real’: Taylor Swift’s stalker appears in court

He broke into her apartment and sent her terrifying ‘poetry’

Mohammed Jaffar, 29, appeared in court Monday, facing charges of stalking and burglary against singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

Jaffar was found camping on Swift's roof earlier this year and buzzing her doorbell for more than an hour, after appearing at one of her concerts in December, 2016, and demanding to meet the 27-year-old.

In February of this year he was accused of calling Swift’s management company more than 60 times over a two-week period, and has been Tweeting obsessively at her since as early as 2014 as well as sending her poetry.

Following his appearance at the Manhattan Supreme Court, he was deemed unfit to stand trial, and committed to a state psychiatric facility

Poem. Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift poetry for you

The end of the poem reads, "There is nothing I love more than you. Nothing, Taylor, NoThing. You are white as snow and twice as hopeful for knowing how to melt, my life."

I need to meet you tonight Taylor Swift, To do in words written what John Cusak's character did in music

(The luckiest man alive, to be with you)

Goodbye gifts are below: a lighter to light the world with what is written on your heart's destiny, now blank.

Something a gatekeeper (A guy dressed up as a security guard in tour lobby) prevented us from sharing

You are, once and always, the biggest light I will ever know, Taylor Swift

I promise I will deserve you

You will always be my fantasy made real

Jaffar was originally arrested on March 6th for burglary and stalking, and was being held on $20,000 bond.

Now, according to authorities, he will remain in psychiatric custody until he is found fit to stand trial on burglary and stalking charges.
