Uber drivers can now leave written feedback for YOU, so I’m never calling an Uber again

This could get really weird, really fast

From now on, I suggest having your friend call for the Uber before you go out. Why? Because Uber drivers can now give passenger feedback.

And let's face it, we all know you have that one friend who gets loud and obnoxious after a pregame, demands the aux cord, complains about the temperature, thinks she's gonna vom, then swallows it back before belting Chance the Rapper. She's already ruined your rating once, should you really let it happen again?

Plus, let's not ignore the creepy side of this. Pretty much every girl in the world has suffered at least one uncomfortable ride. While most drivers are incredible and come strapped with water bottles and aux cords, some are gonna use this new feature to leave gross, unwanted comments.

With the new Uber update, drivers can provide feedback to their passengers who receive less than a 5-star rating aka most of us on a Friday or Saturday night.

Available in the US and Canada for UberX and UberPool, drivers have six categories in which they can describe your shitty behavior:

– Attitude

– Wait Time

– Number of riders

– Patience

– Wanted new route

– Cleanliness

If you're worried about your tendency to get shitfaced and demand your Uber driver blast Africa by Toto at 3 a.m., just know that it takes 3 tags in the same category (within a 30-day period) before getting a notification in the app.

Uber says the purpose of the update is to create a more respectful community that provides feedback from both sides of the exchange. Sounds kinda fake but okay.

Right now it's unclear if the notification is a warning or seriously messes up your rating. Either way, you shouldn't be acting like a fucking animal in an Uber and if you do, well, maybe it's time to switch to Lyft.
