Kylie denounces her Jenner name, decides to become full-time YouTuber
This feels like two steps backwards
Kylie just decided to pull a full-on Kendall, attempting to remove her last name from the collective consciousness because she says it's all become too tiring.
"I don't want to be 'Kylie Jenner,'" she said in an interview with Complex magazine.
And as a part of her push to rebrand herself, she's also begun working as a full-time YouTuber.
Although the "fame isn't bad," she says she feels like she doesn't know who she is anymore, "It’s become a job more than who I am." And maybe she thinks the move to YouTube will change things for her?
A lot of young people get their news there and are super plugged into the online community, but celebrities don't have to do this. It makes sense why a C or D list, pseudo up and coming celeb might try it out, or even a makeup artist who wants to get their work out there, but celebrities like Kylie already have massive followings and don't have to build them.
But with Shay Mitchell from Pretty Little Liars and Madelaine Petsch — Cheryl from Riverdale — doing a similar thing, it feels like a number of celebrities have become concerned with building a following on the video blogging platform, proving it must really be where the money is.
"I don’t want to be that person anymore," she said of the Jenner name.
So here's to 2017 — the year we went back to 2015 and all became YouTube bloggers.
This conspiracy theory that Taylor Swift orchestrated Kim Kardashian’s robbery is TERRIFYING…but convincing

We all remember THE Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian feud™. You know, the one where Taylor Swift pretended she didn't know Kanye was going to call her a bitch in "Famous", so Kim exposed her on Snapchat? Then Taylor said she "would very much like to be excluded from this narrative." It was basically the…
Apparently Rihanna and Chris Brown talk ‘all the time’ so do with that information what you will
When will he just die?
by Caroline Phinney
You may think the queen's birthday is June 9th, but its not. It's February 20th. Yes, Rihanna, musical prodigy and goddess of all things makeup, turned 30 yesterday. So you bet when Chris Brown had the nerve to post a baby photo of her on his own Instagram, we lost it. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY @badgalriri," he…
It’s official you guys, I’ve found the dumbest person on YouTube — maybe even the whole Internet
What is Gen Z up to this time
by Una Dabiero
I feel like there are different tiers of stupidity. First, there are people who mix up "affect" and "effect." Then, there are people who shame strippers and people who voted for Jill Stein. Then, there's a huuuge gap. Then there are YouTubers. But I have officially found the person I believe to be the dumbest…
