‘House of Cards’ has been CANCELLED after Kevin Spacey allegations surface

2017 is looking up

If you're a huge House of Cards fan you may be sad to hear this, but if you're a huge House of Cards fan with a single drop of empathetic blood, you shouldn't be.

Following today's sexual misconduct allegations by Rent actor Anthony Rapp, against House of Cards star Kevin Spacey, Netflix has officially pulled the plug on next season, announcing that this season, season 6, will be their last.

Rapp accused Spacey of making a sexual advance toward him when he was just 14 years old, after inviting him into his bedroom.

"He picked me up like a groom picks up the bride over the threshold," he said, "but I don’t, like, squirm away initially, because I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’ And then he lays down on top of me. He was trying to seduce me.”

Following Rapp's accusal, Spacey took to twitter to post an apology, which has since received backlash from people who are saying he used coming out as a means of deflecting from the more important issue at hand.

Netflix said today they are "deeply troubled" by the allegations.
