Sophie Turner slams people for harassing the ‘Stranger Things’ cast in impassioned Twitter rant

‘They are kids first’

People have been treating the cast of Stranger Things like they're hot adults when they're literally just KIDS. Sophie Turner has known a thing or two about growing up in the public eye. The 21 year-old actress has been starring in the mega-smash Game of Thrones since 2011. She defended the Stranger Things kids after people have been spotted waiting for them outside their hotels and harassing them as they come and go from the building.

"Damn…seeing fully grown adults wait outside the Stranger Things kids' hotel, etc., and then abuse them when they don't stop for them is super weird," she wrote. Sophie continued to slam adults for yelling at the teenagers. "It doesn't matter if they are an actor…they are kids first."

Spanish publication PlayFM pulled up a June issue of W magazine that ran the cover "Why TV Is Sexier Than Ever." Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown, 13, was named as one of the sexiest actors along with full-grown adults like Nicole Kidman, Riz Ahmed, and Charlize Theron.

Finn Wolfhard was placed in a terrible position too when 27 year-old Instagram model Ali Michael asking the 14 year-old to call her in four years. People were offended by what she said and she later apologized. Thankfully, Sophie definitely has not been the only one upset to see the Stranger Things kids seen in such an inappropriate light.
