Taking nudes is such a hassle. There's so much work that goes into just one pic that you'd even deem worthy of sending. You're trying to be all nonchalantly sexy and it's so hard. Here's how to take nudes that you'll end up wishing were on a billboard cause they're just that fucking hot.
What to wear
You should totally do whatever makes you feel sexiest. You can go absolutely bare or leave things to the imagination. Find your favorite pair of undies or lingerie and start there.
If you're really going for it, why not do your hair and makeup too? The tussled bedhead look is always a classic. We'd keep your beauty look simple and just try to make your best features standout. So if you've got a lip color or eyeliner you're just obsessed with, this is the perfect opportunity.
Where to pose
The bedroom is definitely a good place to start. Just make sure your room isn't a totally messy disaster. You want there to be as few distractions as possible. All the focus should be on you and not the pile of laundry in the background.
Bathroom mirror selfies can totally work, but don't have a toilet in the background. It's a total mood killer. Also, no one wants to see the multitude of hairspray and Listerine bottles you have. Get the clutter out of frame.
Wherever you end up deciding to hold this sexy photoshoot, it should have natural lighting. It's definitely the most flattering. Florescent lighting tends to look really harsh so steer clear of it.
How to pose
Take a peak through past pics of yourself to see which side is your favorite and what angles work best. Test out some shots and see what you're feeling and what you're not.
You should play around with your angles in the mirror. Try emphasizing your boobs and butt by pushing your assets out so your body is in a "S" shape. This might be tough, but keep your body relaxed. Too much tension will show and you want the pic to seem casual and effortless.
When it comes to facial expressions, try not to look too serious. Nudes should be fun and flirty. Think about the person you're sending them to or whatever that makes you feel sexiest. A cute half-smile or sultry "smize" is a great way to let your personality shine through a bit.
Take a ton more pics than you want to send. That way you've got a variety to choose from. You'll definitely have a few knockouts to save and you can delete the ones where you're blinking or whatever.
This is entirely up to you, but we'd avoid having your whole face in the pic just in case they end up somewhere you wished they hadn't. Try to keep any identifying birthmarks or tattoos (that can get tricky) out of frame too.
Who should take the pics?
Selfies are probably the easiest. They can look totally spontaneously hot, even if they're actually planned. Holding the camera slightly higher than your head will give your face a great angle (if you decide show it) and make your cleavage look outstanding. If you hold the camera lower, it'll make you look hella long. This could be a great angle if you want to really flaunt your torso and boobs.
You don't have to go into full-on selfie mode. The self-timer feature on your phone could be your best friend. Pile up some books to get the camera to the height you want and pose away! This is the way to go if you're trying to get a full body shot.
If you've got a friend to call, you can turn the whole thing into a real photoshoot. It'll be totally fun and you've got a second opinion right there with you. You were totally going to send your text group the best pics for final approval anyway.
