Melanie Martinez’s new song attacks her best friend who accused her of rape

Melanie Martinez, best known for her time on The Voice, just released a song about her former best friend who accused her of rape three weeks ago.

Martinez's friend, Timothy Heller, claimed their friendship was abusive and says Martinez performed oral on her and penetrated her with a sex toy, despite her saying "No."

Following backlash, Melanie Martinez denied allegations, claiming Timothy "never said no."

Today, Martinez released a song on SoundCloud of all places, accusing her friend of "lying" for "fame."

"You’re lying your way to try and gain a piece of me," she sings, "Now you’re trying to kill my name for some fame."
