Gigi and Bella Hadid’s dad denies model’s claims that he date raped her

‘It was just me, him and champagne’

The father of Gigi and Bella Hadid, Mohamed Hadid, has denied allegations made by model Miranda Vee that he date raped her.

Hadid said he met Vee years ago when she told him she was a fan, but that nothing happened at the time. "When we met it was not a date and not once did I touch her," he told TMZ.

Vee's claim came in the form of an Instagram post. She she posted a screenshot of Kate Upton's sexual assault accusations against Guess co-founder, Paul Marciano, adding, "It is time people like Paul Marciano & Mohamed Hadid get exposed for who they really are!"

Yesterday, Upton accused Marciano of sexual and emotional harassment on both Instagram and Twitter.

Vee says that she met Marciano at his Guess headquarters where "he sexually harassed me," before passing her to his friend Mohamed. "It was just me, him and champagne when he date raped me in an apartment," she said.

Last year when Vee "tried to speak out about it," she says they made her sign a non-disclosure agreement which she only agreed to because "Paul threatened me and said he would get me disappeared if I ever say anything."

Hadid has since dismissed Vee's claims as "totally untrue," adding that if she wanted to make serious accusations against him, she should've gone to the police instead of doing it on Instagram.

He is currently in the process of filing a defamation suit against the model.
