Woah Vicky, real name Victoria Waldrip, is the Instagram star who burst onto your timeline when she was arrested in a North Carolina mall for assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

The 17-year-old has a huge following of 1.4 million fans, and made her name by claiming to be black (she is very much white). A lot of her posts involve her talking in an exaggerated blaccent about getting money. Woah Vicky is also friends with Lil Tay, the nine-year-old rap star whose mom is a Canadian realtor.

Why does Woah Vicky think she's black?

She first posted about being black in 2017 after taking an Ancestry.com test that said she was 44 percent African.

Since announcing she was 'black,' Woah Vicky immediately started saying the n-word

She claims she can say it if she wants to "cuz I'm BLACK."

She has also appropriated what she sees as black culture – corn-rows, extensions, twerking, grills and guns. She's even started selling custom merch on her site – including a range of grills and chains.

Dolezal, who also said she was "transracial" used skin bronzer to make her skin look less white.

How Woah Vicky's online fame began

One of her first viral hits was something called "the lotion challenge," which involved trying to eat a spoon of lotion and trying not to be sick. Go figure.

Woah Vicky had to apologize for a racist music video she made

She released a diss track against Asian YouTuber RiceGum, which featured the chorus: "ching chong ching chong ching chong bitch."

She said sorry in an Instagram apology, explaining: "I actually really love Asians, and I actually really find Asian guys attractive, so…so…so…if you’re like, umm, a Asian guy and you think I’m attractive, please DM me right now."

So why was she arrested?

Woah Vicky was cuffed at the Four Seasons Town Center Mall in Greensboro, North Carolina. According to police reports, she was given multiple opportunities to leave when she was trespassing at the mall. She refused, and then resisted arrest, allegedly kicking a police officer. She has been charged with trespassing, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Woah Wicky, what are you doing?

Her police report confirmed she was white.
