There’s a typo in Emma Watson’s new ‘Time’s Up’ tattoo and Hermione would never let this happen

She also wouldn’t let those bangs happen

I love Emma Watson. I always have, and I always will. There was something about growing up with her, from an awkward child into an even more awkward adult, that made me feel close to her, and the space she once carved out in my frizzy-haired, tween heart is pretty much incomparable. But ever since Harry Potter ended, I can't help but notice, she's trying really hard.

In many ways, she's taken incredible bounds forward — her work as a UN Goodwill Ambassador and with the He For She campaign has not, and will not, go unnoticed. But what also hasn't gone unnoticed is the giant 'Time's Up' tattoo she debuted at the Oscars last night, along with the apostrophe it's missing.

You can see it in her eyes. She knows she fucked up.

Luckily, it's only temporary. You can tell by the glowy circle around it, and the fine font, that she applied it about 30 minutes beforehand, so it could've been way worse.

And take it from someone with 15 tattoos, of all of the typos to encounter, an apostrophe is the least of your worries — you can always edit one in after the fact. There's no getting rid of an ex boyfriend's name, or lyrics to a song you got wrong. (My sister used to think the 'I want your body' song was about Joe Biden. Imaging having to explain that to a hookup.)

But of course, we can't let Emma get away with it that easily.

People on Twitter are already cracking jokes about it

'I sooooo thought she was better than that'

'Eh, good enough'

'IMO it cheapens her whole stance on the movement'

'Where's the apostrophe?!!!'

'My suspension of disbelief is c a n c e l l e d'

'*Whispers* . . . shouldn't Emma's Watson's tat have an apostrophe?'

'There's something that concerns me more'

And then there's this guy who think's she'd be a "nightmare to go out with."

As if he'd have the chance.

So thanks for debuting your tattoo, Emma, typo or not. Because at least now we all know how big of a douche George is.

Besides, in 2013, one of Emma Watson's (since deleted) tweets included "thankyou's" and the wrong kind of stationery versus stationary, so I guess she never really was Hermione after all.
