‘Stranger Things’ creators are accused of abusing and threatening women on-set

‘There were threats and people were forced to quit’

Yesterday, both of the Duffer Brothers, the creators of cult-favorite show Stranger Things, were accused of verbally abusing and threatening women on-set.

The allegations came when Peytonn Brown, a woman who claims to be a crew member on the show, posted an Instagram explaining why she would not be returning for the third season of the show, adding that she "personally witnessed two men in high positions of power on that set seek out and verbally abuse multiple women."

When asked by another Instagram user if she was talking about the Duffer brothers, she replied "Yes, I am."

When another Instagram user commented asking how the Duffer brothers abused women, Peytonn explained, "There was yelling, there were insults, there were threats and people were even fired or forced to quit because of them."

The Instagram post has since been deleted, but Perez obtained screenshots of the Instagram comments, and you can read comments from angry fans in the comment threads of her other posts.
