What Gigi just did to Zayn proves the Hadid girls have literally NO self-respect

The are only three rules you need to follow if you're a celebrity and want people (read: your ex) to think you respect yourself. They are: Don't say you're still in love with them in an interview two years after you've broken up, don't suggest you'd go running back to someone who dumped you the second an opportunity showed itself, and I shouldn't even have to say this, but obviously do not like any of his Instagram photos. Your stans are wild, and they will catch you doing it.

But between two seemingly intelligent Hadid sisters, they couldn't manage to follow a single one of those rules. Instead, they broke all of them, culminating with Gigi Hadid liking an IG posted by her (very recent) ex, Zayn Malik.

And honestly, all I can do is shake my head at this point

Zayn made a big deal about seeming like he didn't care when the two broke up, and now I'm pretty sure that's because he actually didn't care.

but it became clear Gigi had been more invested since the beginning when she posted the most heartbreaking message about her breakup with Zayn. He clearly dumped her. And now she's out here liking his damn Instagram posts?! Zayn doesn't even follow her!

Of course, prior to this, her sister Bella spent a year talking about how she missed Abel in interviews — even though he dumped her for Selena. And today, he released his new album My Dear Melancholy, where he admits to wanting to donate a kidney to Selena before she broke up with him.

But in the same album as that song, "Call Out My Name," he sings "Wasted Time," in which he talks about regretting breaking up with Bella to get with Selena: "You were equestrian, so ride it like a champion, I hope you know this dick is still an option."

And you know what? With those girls' track record, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Bella went running back to him. I'd be embarrassed, but not surprised.
