These melanin majesties are just a glimpse at what Wakanda’s prom would look like
I just need a Gele to stunt

Prom attire has seriously evolved since Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat have forced us to up the standard. In this day and age, teens treat prom as if it were the Met Gala. But for my people ✊🏾 we do things a little differently.
Since Black Panther was released, we're taking racists' advice and taking our Black asses back to Africa, serving prom-goers Gambian and Nigerian realness. I'm pretty sure if Wakanda was on the map, we'd dip on 'Merica and rock out prom like these kids:
@jman_0101 knew what was up and matched his queen
When in doubt, overdress. 🙅🏿♂️#WakandaForever #Prom2k18 pic.twitter.com/gtxBNS5fWG

I'd bow down to Princess Ronke and her prince
Lean on me when your not strong, and I’ll be you friend. I’ll help you carry on. pic.twitter.com/njVUWpQXlQ

Amari is giving me chills with this belt and arm bracelet

We're here for this Kente dress
There's plenty of Black elegance to go around this prom season and I may just crash prom to go as an undercover parent and take pics for my own wardrobe inspiration.
