We spoke to the brave souls who pierced their clits and I’m kegeling in terror reading this

‘Bumpy car rides can be fun’

The first time I modified something on my body with a piercing, it was as simple as a hole through cartilage. I’d considered getting my nipples pierced, but the winter in New York is far too cold for that mess.

Something I was DEFINITELY never brave enough to do was getting my clit pierced. As terrified as I am by it, it's equally fascinating and I was curious to know how it works. Does it hurt? Is it worth it? What’s it like just… having it? I got sick of wondering and asked babe readers who have clit piercings what the process was really like. Prepare yourself now. Your walls will tighten up all while reading these accounts on what’s it’s really like to get your clit pierced.

It hurt like hell getting it done. It healed really quickly! Like within days. I've had it eight years now and mostly forget it’s there ?.

I just wiped it over daily with salt water and made sure it was dry after having a bath. Also, I have a lot of ear piercings and had trouble with a lot of them and it was so much easier than them! It became comfortable to touch and move around after about two-three weeks.

I went with a girlfriend who was getting her tongue pierced. An older man was doing it, which felt a bit weird, but he was very professional about the whole thing. Whenever I’ve seen a gynecologist I’ve never even been given an odd look and they’ve never mentioned it either, luckily.

Another thing is, it doesn’t get in the way of sex. One person has got a little excited and pulled it with his teeth before—that hurt a little. Overall, it’s pretty helpful! It feels good, rubs well and bumpy car rides can be fun.

I have and it was amazingly fast. Like in and out of the shop fast. The pain was bearable because it was over in a matter of minutes.

The partner I was with when I initially got it done wasn't shocked or anything, she just thought it was a means of self expression like any other body modification or tattoo. But I've been intimate with other people who expect me to be some kind of extroverted, super sexual person. "Oh, that means you're a freak in bed, huh?"

It was super simple. Walked in and talked to the piercer, followed her into the back room, and she left so I could get settled. I made sure to wear a dress, so I slipped out of my undies and sat in the chair (there was a protective sheet on it). From there she used a disinfectant, and applied the piercing tool and reminded me not to flinch or close my thighs. It was hella fast. She popped in the jewelry and told me about after care.

It's an aesthetic thing for me, personally. It's like a cute little secret I have no one knows about.

It only hurt for the second it took for them to pierce me. It healed so fast, I was able to have sex the next day. It definitely increased sensitivity ?

The first I heard about it was from a piercer friend of mine. I saw some photos, and thought it looked gorgeous. It was my most expensive piercing, and I did retire it, but I don't regret getting it done at all!
