We tried to survive the morning after a Thursday night out thanks to this lil drink

We’re pretty much thriving

If you’ve ever been to any non-shit happy hour, your stomach is churning because you understand the unique sensation of sobering up enough to realize you have work or class in a few hours. It’s a scary place to be, unless you’ve got a Morning Recovery in hand (or so my friends and I have been told).

The liver boosting ingredient DHM in Morning Recovery basically helps your liver breakdown the toxins faster like you know, alcohol.

Thursday, 6:01pm

I got home from work and only stopped dissecting every aspect of my ex’s Instagram like 5 minutes ago. It’s time to put all that nonsense behind me cause I’m going to happy hour with the girls. I’ve got Cardi on Spotify in a desperate attempt to get my friends out of their post-work daze, and it’s working…

We’re starting our pregame by mixing Morning Recovery right into our drinks, making our own version of a sex on the beach since it tastes like peach. Sarah opted to just down the whole bottle like a shot. As long as you take it within the hour of your last drink, you do you.

Thursday, 9:17pm

Megan has her heart set on belting out some karaoke. We’re all too busy loving our whiskey ginger and dissecting a text from Emma’s man-who’s-not-her-man-but-kind-of-her-man. It might be time to make moves though.

Thursday, 11:03pm

Carrie’s got an early start so she’s on her way home, but the rest of us are still out. Megan has been on stage trying her karaoke hand at Sia’s Chandelier for nearly two hours, but despite my sincerest wishes THIS was the last bar, Sarah just ordered us another Uber.

Take Morning Recovery while you’re having a good time, get some Zzzs, and you’ll wake up feeling refreshed.

Friday, 12:18am

Emma wants to order another round, but most of us have decided to bail and head home. If you chose not to take the Morning Recovery beforehand, and wait until the last possible second, that’s between you, God and your Uber driver, but THIS is the point of no return. If you can promise yourself this is your last sip, you have like 10 minutes to down a Morning Recovery and save yourself the headache in the morning.

But I’m going to bounce before Emma actually decides to get any more drinks.

Friday, 8:12am

I’m in a state of shock. We all rolled into our jobs this morning and felt fine! My alarm def caught me by surprise, but I was shocked when I hopped right out of bed. I didn’t even have that gross nauseous feeling that I normally get after a night out (thank god!) and I only had to snooze the alarm twice, which is the greatest miracle of all.

Everyone in the group chat is feeling good and ready to power through this Friday so we can get to the weekend. “I mean waking up was still a challenge,” Sarah said, “but once I got moving I realized I didn’t feel nearly as bad I thought I would after a night like that.” She even made into the office on time. She had to take an Uber to make it, but still.

Megan is already talking about stocking up on Morning Recovery for our boozy Sunday brunch so we’re feeling fresh on Monday, and quite frankly, I like her style.
