This style blogger wants to start her own Fat Gala because no fat girls were invited to the Met

My thick ass is ALWAYS ready to twirl

Maybe you didn't notice because your mind's been brainwashed with conventional bodies for your entire life but save for Ashley Graham, who by all body standards is totally average, not one plus-size body hit the Met Gala red carpet last night. And that's an issue.

While I'm not at all surprised by the sizism, it's pretty daring to withhold invitations for curvy women in fashion when inclusivity seems to be the talk of the town these days.

In an interview with The Cut, Ashley admitted she couldn't find a single designer to pull her a sample- size gown for Met Ball a few years ago. “I couldn’t get a designer to dress me,” she said. “You can’t just show up in jeans and a T-shirt.”

However, Gabi Greg, the cofounder of plus-size clothing brand Premme, is feeling her pain — and in talks of starting a Fat Gala just for curves to steal the spotlight.

And naturally, people were here for it

The Met Gala has always put conventional straight-size people in the limelight — as if there are no thick people in Hollywood or fashion. And according to The New York Times, even if you've got the 30K for a ticket, you have to get through a waitlist and be approved by Anna Wintour. . "Qualifications for inclusion have to do with buzz and achievement (and beauty), a.k.a. the gospel according to Anna, more than money," the article lists.

If Gabi does decide to put this Premme Fat Gala into works, I need to find a designer to custom make my dress and figure out how to scam my way into the press section. I can't miss this.
