Initially, it was reported the pair took a mutually decided break, then broke up. But we have proof Selena dumped Justin's ass after years of being infatuated with him.

According to Us Weekly, a source said: "Selena started seeing the bigger picture when it came to their relationship. Like what was more important: her general happiness and her family and friends approval, or her being together with Justin, where no one really supported their relationship."

She chose her happiness, friends and family over Justin. And apparently she's "thrilled." The source says: "She feels more empowered than ever and is looking forward to this next chapter."

Yes, that's correct. The same bitch who wrote The Heart Wants What It Wants has dumped her first love, a truly incredible feat. Honestly, this might make her more of a role model than any of her past accomplishments. Who cares about cutting out a rotten kidney when you cut out a rotten boyfriend? I'm impressed.
