Taylor Swift just fired one of her best friends for posting rape jokes and anti-woman memes

Taylor Swift might be a problematic fave, but her taking a stand against misogyny by firing friend and backup dancer, Toshi, for misogynistic posts is something we can all get behind.

Tay's now-ex-dancer posted several inappropriate memes to his Instagram before setting his profile to private. The posts included "funny" gags about women belonging in the kitchen, violent sex memes, and even a full-on rape joke:

A source told Daily Mail that Taylor and Toshi were close. "She has considered him one of her closest friends on the road after recruiting him for her 1989 tour back in 2014," the source said. "But she simply cannot endorse this behavior and to do so would be setting a bad example to her fans."

And Taylor's fans held nothing back on Twitter about their feelings towards Toshi and his posts

I don't know Toshi, BUT I hear ladies really hate sexism. So if you plan on posting rape jokes and sexist memes, maybe it's best you stop working for and with one of the most powerful women alive. Just a suggestion.
