Fans are accusing Demi Lovato of sexual assault after a ‘prank’ goes wrong

‘She walked in his room without permission and grabbed him’

Demi Lovato's the queen of deleting why-would-you-even-say-that tweets.

There was this gem, with a poor choice of words on a very bad day:

Aaaaand was this genetic gift:

But a series of now-deleted tweets have fans (and non-fans, hi!) angry over what some are calling sexual assault. Demi hosted a q-and-a on her Twitter feed, and a fan asked her about the funniest prank she's ever pulled. In response, Demi tweeted this:

"I hired a [prostitute] in Vegas and sent her to [my bodyguard's] hotel room to surprise him. She walked into his room without permission and grabbed him in his [genitals] and he freaked the fuck out hahahahaha"

Hold the fuck up. You hired a sex worker to…sexually assault your friend/employee who was visibly upset? Demi clearly thought this was a hilarious punking, but Twitter users swarmed:

And then Demi doubled the fuck down on it, too! Sure, she deleted the initial tweet because it was literally evidence of (more than one) crime, but then she had the nerve to claim that everyone offended was a sensitive little snowflake kicking off over nothing:

In true tone-deaf celeb fashion, she also took the opportunity to promote songs from her flop album, claiming she could never promote sexual assault because she herself has been a victim in the past. Demi, babe, that's not how any of this works:

Fucking ridiculous that I've gotta put it in these terms because it's sooo guy-has-daughters-so-it-makes-him-a-compassionate-human, but think of it like this: If a guy in a position of power hired a man to break into his employee's hotel room and grab her genitals…what would you say?
