Finally we’re getting an American Horror Story season that actually sounds good

AHS has finally risen from the ashes

Remember how obsessed we all used to be with American Horror Story? I've seen most seasons of American Horror Story, and I can say with authority that things have been downhill since Asylum. Those were the series' halcyon days when things weren't political and Gaga stayed in her lane.

But the theme for American Horror Story season 8 is Apocalypse, and I can't think of any theme more fitting for where we're at right now.

Fans who have been having withdrawal from AHS's Murder House vibes are now speculating that this season is a continuation to the first season's (the best season, honestly) storyline after Vivian gives birth to the Antichrist and the baby is swept up by Jessica Lange's character Constance.

And it gets better is that the cast isn't complete ass either. The cast includes Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson and newbie to the show, Joan Collins.

The end of the end premiers September 12th on FX.
