This Just In: Soulja Boy is extremely good at Twitter

It’s been over a decade since Soulja Boy blessed the world with the lyrical masterpiece “Crank That,” and although he hasn’t been relevant in a hot minute (and some people even thought he died :( ) we here at babe can reveal that not only is your favorite rapper from middle school still alive, he’s also really fucking good at Twitter.

On Saturday night, near-senile goat-toothed politician Rudy Giuliani fired off a cryptic tweet that consisted solely of the word “You.” Nobody understands why he tweeted this — although, to be fair, nobody really seems to understand anything he does anymore — but it provided Twitter with ample fodder for jokes. Some were funnier than others, but there was one that really spoke to me:

Understandably, people were shook. First of all, Soulja Boy is alive! And second of all, holy shit. The man is funny…? This is the kind of tweet Chrissy Teigen only wishes she could pen. In just four short words, Soulja Boy utterly destroyed Rudy Giuliani. He Supermanned the fuck out of that hoe. The eloquence! Shakespeare found dead!

But this is far from the first time that he has flexed his rhetorical chops on Twitter. A quick scroll through his feed reveals a series of absolutely vicious one-liners. From Wikipedia hackers to camels in Dubai, nobody is safe:

But Soulja Boy isn’t all savage clapbacks. No, the man has feelings. Really, really deep feelings. And he’s not afraid to let his sensitive side show. Drake may be the poster child of the softboy movement, but it’s clear that Soulja Boy is the OG king of emotions:
