‘Dixiewave’ is the latest (and weirdest) attempt by racist dorks to get young people into the Confederacy
It’s lame as hell
Getting regular young people to stan the Confederacy in the hopes of making the South rise again would seem stupid and pointless, but that hasn't stopped racist dweebs from trying with a new campaign called "Dixiewave."
It idolizes the Confederacy with a vaporwave aesthetic and is a woeful attempt at making slave plantations, Robert E. Lee, and badly losing civil wars seem cool.
Coming to the timeline of the racist kid from your high school who cant use apostrophe's any day now:
You get the idea. Imagine thinking that the way to make your internet club of sweating neo-Confederate masturbators cool is by splashing it with an 80s pink vibe. That'll do it!
These were sent in by a tipster who noticed them on social media and a violently racist site for white supremacists aping the Confederacy. This style is also known as "Rebelwave" and like the frat guys and dunces who worship Confederate figures, is just another attempt to excuse and exonerate a dark period of history as a celebration of "heritage." Like those lame flags they buy off the internet, set Dixiewave on fire and put its ashes in the garbage.
