Soul queen Aretha Franklin dead at 76

RIP to a legend

Aretha Franklin has passed away aged 76. Her hits like Respect and (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman made her a legend. She died today with pancreatic cancer.

TMZ broke the news that Aretha died at home this morning, and that she was surrounded by friends and family.

Aretha Franklin, known for having one of the greatest voices in music history, and for hits like "Respect," and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" … died Thursday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Aretha bagged 18 Grammys during her career, and sung at President Barack Obama's inauguration. Rest in peace.
