Looks like Beyoncé picked a side in the messy Cardi B-Nicki Minaj feud

Just a brief recap because a) I'm sure you've heard it before and b) my Adderall has yet to kick in this morning. So Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are in a big ol' feud which culminated with a physical altercation at a NYFW party last weekend. Words were exchanged and Cardi allegedly hurled a shoe at Nicki before she was escorted out, sporting a huge lump on her head.

You can read more about it here, but I'm ready to get on to the real story: Beyoncé's involvement in it all! Beyoncè on your side in a fight is an instant credibility boost. It's like having the sitting President endorse you on the campaign trail (not the current one but, y'know, past Presidents). That's why we've all been waiting with bated breath, waiting for lines to be drawn and armies to be built.

Beyoncé's worked with Nicki several times in the past, but she's also friendly with Cardi. It looked like she was going to stay neutral…until the Beyhive discovered something amazing:

Nicki's mugshot is part of a backdrop slideshow for the Carter's new tour. It started before the feud in June, but what happened this week makes fans think Beyoncé is trying to send a message. Bey uploaded the picture to her website just a few days after the Nicki/Cardi fight.

Stan Twitter was quick to put the pieces together, deciphering the upload as a public declaration of loyalty to Nicki.

I love Nicki, Cardi, and Beyoncé equally, they're all my stepmoms. But if I were Cardi, I'd be worried. Remember how she beat that girl named Dameeka at a sleepover and stabbed her with a fork?! I need every other celebrity to pick a side, too. And also I need a livestream of all future fights, please and thank you!
