Selena Gomez hospitalized and receiving mental health treatment after ’emotional breakdown’
She tried ripping the IVs out of her arm
According to TMZ, Selena Gomez was just hospitalized for the second time in two weeks following "an emotional breakdown."
She was reportedly distraught over complications following her kidney transplant as well as emotional distress.
TMZ says Gomez insisted she was fine to leave hospital, but when doctors denied her, she had a "meltdown" and "freaked out," trying to tear the IV drips out of her arm. Sources quoted by TMZ say she suffered an "emotional breakdown."
Since, celebrities like Ariana Grande have liked posts sending Selena positive vibes.
Cardi B even posted on her own Instagram story about it.
On September 23rd, the singer-songwriter announced a break from all social media platforms, saying "Just remember, negative comments can hurt anybody's feelings. Obvi."
In an Instagram Live preceding the announcement, she told fans she'd been depressed for five years.
