Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have split up, according to TMZ. "Things are over romantically," said the celeb news site, citing sources close to the pair that they had broken up. Apparently it "simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off." It appears to have been an amicable breakup.

Ariana and Pete announced their engagement back in May, just weeks after they got together. Last week, it looked like they were headed for a breakup, after Pete deleted his Instagram (not that he used it much) and covered up his Ariana-inspired bunny mask tattoo. She recently posted about having a rough time, tweeting: "can i pls have one okay day. just one. pls."

TMZ's source said they haven't ruled out getting back together further down the line, but they are definitely done for now.
