This bride admitted to purposefully making her bridesmaids fatter so she could look better in photos

She gave them special ‘slimming’ smoothies

Cady Herron is getting married! Pretty much, anway. An anonymous bride admitted to lacing her bridesmaids' smoothies with weight-gaining ingredients in the weeks leading up to her wedding so she could outshine them in wedding photos.

The woman, who goes only by Penny, told Australian outlet Wihmn that she lied to her bridesmaids, telling them the smoothies were special slimming smoothies, when they were actually packed with mega-weight gain protein powder, causing them to gain tons of weight rapidly.

Both of the bridesmaids were sisters of Penny's, who she claims are "stunning," and have always overshadowed her. Penny says one sister is a "guy magnet", while the other was apparently jealous of her impending nuptials.

"I wasn’t as hot and popular as my older sister and I wasn’t as cute and fun as my younger sister. I was just Penny in the middle," she said. So to get them back, she began frequently fattening them in secret.

Every morning she insisted on making breakfast smoothies for everyone. "I told them I wanted us all to look our best on the big day," she said.

Penny says she's been planning her wedding since she knew what a bride was, and while she knew she would get "a little bridezilla-ish," she claims the plan was an easy one to put in place as she and her two sisters already lived in a shared home.

The craziest part is Penny feels exactly zero remorse. Her reasoning is the wedding photos will be displayed in her home forever, so "I don’t want to be reminded until my last day on earth that I was the plain sister." Yeah, makes sense.
