The Instagram influencers have officially gone too far

Is nothing sacred??!

Instagram Influencers are robots, I already know this, but what becomes more and more apparent as I spend more of my life on social media and less of it interacting with real humans is they're deeply insensitive robots. They'll be like "Omg praying for the victims of the California wildfires so sad no words," in one story, and then in their next they'll be like "Headed to Morocco for six weeks so blessed to live this life I can't LETS DO THIS!!!"

I almost wish we could go back to a time when the most annoying thing about then was that they wasted hours of my life as I scrolled through their never-ending stories about which brands they're most thankful for.

But now, on top of the fact the government spent more than $800,000 on Instagram "influencers" over the past 18 months, and on top of the fact I knew they'd turn virtually anything into an opportunity to make money, I thought even they might have a line. But instead, they're using that money to post thot pics at Auschwitz, and luckily (or unluckily??) the twitter account @likeandsub has been chronicling it. Or some of it at least…

'Thinking about how different my life is from the man picking in the rice field every day'

And here are just a few from the World Trade Center

The site of an attack which killed more than 2,600 people, but go ahead and stunt I guess!!

Or the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

X

Auschwitz anyone?

THIS IS A TOP POST

I guess the ONLY refreshing thing about this all is that in years to come there will be millions of Instagram "Influencers" — including this crew — working shit jobs because they haven't got any work experience, and their faces are plastered all over the internet in articles like this one.

A good rule might be to only support social media influencers who you still think are good people when the camera is turned off.
