Just when I thought there was no hope left in the world and every last one of my childhood heartthrobs turned out ugly, I found a snack to satiate my ever-present hunger. The ultimate glow-up manifested itself in Nickelodeon's ultimate good guy, Arnold from Hey! Arnold.
Well, the dude who voiced the character glow'd up, anyway. I can't be certain about in-universe Arnold himself. But seriously, look at this:
His name is Lane Toran, and he played the original Arnold in the show's first season through the beginning of season two in the late 90s.
Now it looks like Toran's taken on Justin Timberlake's whole Man of the Woods persona, and ditched his football-headed character's city life for a flannel and a full beard—which is like, kind of the biggest panty dropper of this millennial age.
No, this is not a drill. Lane is literally the Urban Outfitters employee of your dreams. He drives an old Chevy, looks like your Starbucks barista, and of course, he makes music. Like with real instruments, not a computer! *swoons* I haven't heard any of it because I'm too distracted by that face — but Arnold, Lane, whoever you are, you could get it any day at P.S. 118.
