The judge who sentenced Brock Turner to only six months has been recalled by voters

Finally, some GOOD news

Listen, I've kind of lost all hope in democracy. I mean, between the 2016 election and the Recording Academy's absolute shit-show every year at the Grammy's, I kind of figure the system just doesn't work for anyone. But alas, the voters in Santa Clara, California have restored my hope in what most history books would call "the greatest system of all time." LOL.

Yesterday, voters recalled the judge who sentenced Brock Turner — the guy who raped an unconscious woman behind a dumpster at Stanford in 2016 — to only six months. He said he gave Brock such a small sentence because any longer would've had a "severe impact" on Brock's life. As though Emily Doe wasn't SEVERELY IMPACTED by Brock.

Organizers in Santa Clara have been working since Brock's sentencing to get this guy out of office, and Associated Press has called their victory one of the first wins for the #MeToo movement this election season.

To the judge: Honestly, suck on unemployment, you ASSHOLE. I hope you never work again. And to every woman out there who made this possible, keep it fucking moving. Let's all get out and vote this season.
